What is the difference between I-Share and interlibrary loan (ILLiad)?

The I-Share network includes one hundred other Illinois academic and institutional libraries from which RUSH users can borrow materials. All I-Share libraries provide this service free of charge. For licensing reasons, online materials like e-journals and e-books cannot be borrowed through I-Share. To request journal articles or book chapters, please use ILLiad, RUSH's interlibrary loan service.
According to I-Share policy, registered borrowers can visit any I-Share library and borrow materials. Contact any I-Share library before visiting in person for details on their access policies and procedures. Be sure to bring your RUSH employee or student ID, as it will serve as your library card!
