I found an article in a language other than English. Can I request an English version via ILL, or can the library translate the article for me?
Answer
In general, the materials available via interlibrary loan do not differ from what is available from the publisher, and the library does not offer translation services. If there is no English-language full text version indicated by the publisher's website or database, it is likely that it is also not available via interlibrary loan.
Requests placed for foreign language materials will be cancelled unless you select "Yes" from the Will you accept the item in a language other than English? menu on the request form, and/or specify acceptable languages in the Notes field.
